Ecoglo Product Compliance

The G3001 guidance strip is designed for marking pathways, stairway landings, egress corridors, ramps and walls to aid in the safe and efficient movement of people. It can also be used to outline features such as door frames. The G3001 can also be placed into a routed groove or mounted straight onto a handrail. The G3001 can be used on steps if the step surface has strong anti-slip performance but should not to be used on outdoor steps if they are subjected to wet weather. If the non-slip performance of the step itself is not sufficient chose from our other product range. The photoluminescent strip is visible for many hours after the lights go out, having been charged from sunlight or artificial light.

Glow-in-the-dark guidance strip is designed for installation onto flat steps and into corridors. The G5001 guidance strip is fully compliant with RS 6-1 of New York City Local Law 26 for photoluminescent markings used for step edges, floor demarcation lines and exit door framings. The ecoglo® guidance strip is designed to be visible for several hours after the lights go out, having been charged from overhead lighting.

Glow-in-the-dark "L" shaped Side Edge Marker designed for installation onto both horizontal sides of each step in compliance with New York City Local Law 26 RS 6-1. (Note that the leading edge of each landing in the stairway requires the installation of ecoglo® G5001 across the full width of the step). The ecoglo® G5001L is 9" deep and 3" wide on the return.

The H5001 handrail strip is designed to add a lighting component to your handrails. Easy to touch and see, the strip makes a user feel safer when negotiating stairs or other pathways in the dark. The photoluminescent strip is visible for many hours after the lights go out, having been charged by sunlight or artificial light.
The H5001 handrail strip meets the New York City Local Law 26 RS 6-1 requirements for photoluminescent markings (MEA Acceptance Report # 244-05-M).
